Rock is one of the best coverage typings in the game, SE against Fire, Bug, Flying, Ice is a powerful combo. Plus rock moves generally have good added effects like +crit on stone edge and rock slide flinch. Imagine what a meta with 100% accurate stone edges would be like not fun lol

Isn't Fighting at least as good a coverage type? Doesn't Fighting have an exact clone of Stone Edge to its name? Doesn't Fighting also have half a dozen moves with at least as much power and better accuracy than Stone Edge? Isn't Fighting just okay at the moment, in spite of all this? Why on earth would accurate Stone Edges make the meta any worse than it is? There's only like four or five Rock-types worth using in the first place, after all, and one of them wouldn't bother with Stone Edge even if it never missed at all.
