I don't think that'd be enough. Torterra doesn't have the same strengths that make Cloyster w/ Shell Smash so potent. And even with it he's still slow as fuck.

The problem isn't really with Torterra, it's just that it doesn't fit into the rest of the game too well.

call it "evergreen" or "permafrost"
that alone would give it top synergy partnered with anything that has an ice type weakness

like its not even that far from good, its no beedrill, it has tools, its just fucking glass

Yeah good luck. It doesnt need a new movepool its got a really good one as is. Shell Smash is the only thing that would significantly buff it. Making SD & RP obsolete. The problem is that its outclassed badly in the roles it performs since it's typing just isn't great. A mega may get it UU but thata about it.

Similar to King's Shield or whatever the fuck Turtinator has, it sets up a Protect-esque shield. If the opponent makes contact, it automatically inflicts Leech Seed onto the opponent and protects Torterra from the move.

I doubt it would be OU, but I just thought it might help. Its typing is just rough.
