i cant remember any but ive seen old fakemon with the same names as new pokemon several times. i dont think gf steals ideas (especially since james turner confirmed several times that pokemon designs are contractually not allwoed to LOOK at fakemon) but the team who picks the english names might be sneaky cunts? idk

There was some fakemon named Pyroar before, but that's a fairly easy name to create.

Also, somebody made a hypothetical Mega Diancie design back when all we had were the Smealum leaks, and it looked startlingly similar to what we ended up getting.

If MLP did it, I don't see how pokemon wouldn't. There is no chance to win the lawsuit though. It takes too much effort and they will send you hordes of lawyers, hasbro has many. I assume GF is similar.
They will stall and do bullshit as much as possible until most people give up, if the guy is really gonna win they just silence them with a deal.
