The flower and the body are separate entities in the first two stages. Only florges should be part grass.

Pokémon Reborn's (fangame) alt shiny absol sprite is exactly like this. If you're willing to sit through the edgy plot, wait until near the end of second half of the current gameplay to do the event and you get lucky enough to get a shiny one, that is.

Seems interesting but then I remember everything and their mother gets knock off, and knock off certainly does NOT need to get better offensively.

I wish it was called "coccoal". There's a pretty good guy in the thread nearby taking requests for evos of existing mons, you could ask them.

It should work with both honestly, and also with plates since we're at it.

As for me, I'm enraged by stats. Torchic having more attack stat than onix, magnemite having the same special attack as lugia, that kind of thing.

They irk me so much. There are perfectly good stones for every single Eevee form and it'd be so much more streamlined/intuitive, but Gamefreak seems totally uninterested in retconning it.

1) In Gen II, time has been associated with the Psychic-type, seeing as how Future Sight is Psychic-type. Celebi can travel through time, presumably through its own psychic power. Celebi can also use its psychic power to restore the vegetation of any area it goes into.

2) Celebi is seen manipulating grass and plants in its movie.

3) In the 13th movie, Celebi is connected to Time Ripples and the ability of Kodai to use future sight (which, again, is Psychic-type).

Sableye is first and foremost a goblin/ghost living in darkness. Its Japanese name is Yamirami. The crystals are part of Sableye's body but aren't really the Pokemon. It's like saying that every Pokemon out there should be Water-type because they have some water inside of them. Or how Alakazam should be Steel-type because it carries spoons.

Its Ground-typing is there because scorpions tend to live in deserts and near cliffs. Gligar's family all live in desert areas with cliffs.

It's a virtual program made out of data, not a being that can create electricity.

Yes, this one was a bit of a bummer, but this Pokemon's central theme is magnetism, which falls more in line with Steel-type characteristics. (Probopass would eventually be Steel-type for that reason.)

Jirachi is based on a wishing star. Celestial bodies are associated with the Psychic-type, such as Solgaleo, Lunala, Cosmog, Deoxys, Cresselia, etc.

Flabebe and Floette are holding on to the flowers, so they shouldn't be Grass-type for the same reason that Alakazam and Kadabra shouldn't be Steel-type. But Florges... I agree with this one.

Most shiny Pokemon use a programmed color palette in which the parts of their body change to that color. (E.g. Many Blue Pokemon have bright purple shinies.) Many gray/white-colored Pokemon changed to a reddish tint in Gen III when shiny because that was the programming.

First, Fairy isn't the "good type." There is no "good" type. Many fairy Pokemon are depicted as tricksters, liars, deceivers, etc.; they would be the furthest thing from good. Fighting is probably the closest we have to a good type, and it is evidenced with how Fighting is super-effective against Dark. (Good always wins over evil theme.)

Fairy was made SE to Dark because it, Dragon, and Fighting were the three dominant offensive types in Gen V. Similarly, Fairy became weak to Poison and Steel because those 2 types were previously offensively outclassed by other types, and as such Steel and Poison needed a unique offensive niche.

We don't really need another cocoon Pokemon. And having a cocoon would ultimately ruin one of the biggest themes of Larvesta's family. These Pokemon are super hard to raise up to Level 59 when you can evolve them to Volcarona (most prominent by the Larvesta egg in BW which starts out at Level 1). The reward for this hardship is a Pokemon with one of the highest BSTs in the entire game. Many of Larvesta's level-up moves prior to evolving are also utter crap, which cements this difficulty. GF didn't want to give people an easy time.

I agree, but I also understand that Silvally is tournament legal on the count of being a lesser Legendary. Game Freak probably didn't want to make Silvally too overpowered. Arceus, being a Mythical banned from tournament play, can be broken.
