I'm not that immersed in competetive ('m trying to get in, though), but I'll admit that I usually prefer to play more offensively than defensively - using things like hazards or Toxic stall is more of a novelty than anything.

Plus, if by some freakish whim I decide to go for VGC or Doubles, my understanding is that Stealth Rock means jack there.

Jolly will get you the most bang for your buck.
Scarf and offensive both run jolly, while only defensive runs impish and everything else is shit.

I mean, like I said, I haven't tried going for one in Ultra Sun yet, so I could easily get two with different Natures and play around with them. Unless there's some bullshit about Banked Pokémon in multiplayer that I'm not aware of?
