It is okay, actually. The real problem that Crystal Beast has is that their Main Deck Monster, well, most of them suck pretty bad. Even when they were printed only Ruby and Pegasus were good.

The fact that Hamon is unironically a better boss monster for Crystal Beasts than Rainbow Dragon is just icing on the cake.

This is absolutly not true
I mean, sure at first but once you get mid lv 20 getting crystals gets harder.
There are some good totally free good decks tho but the best ones (Cyber Angel, Sea Steath) are expensive

Admittedly yea stuff like Cyber Angel are more hassle because you need the cards, the rituals and the support. Though my relinquished deck took a few days to make and that's 3 copies of 3URs and 6UR drops from lv40 Pegasus

Sure you could just drop 500 quid immediately and get the deck you want but it's so much money to cut out such little work/cut out playing the game
