Bouffalant is a better more creative and cooler design than tauros and people only prefer tauros cause pf nostalgia, bouffalant was a huge improvement

I always liked the stone horns, stone face bumps, and the three tails. Tauros is a cool Pokémon. It looks better in the gen 1 art though.

Bouffalant isn't even very creative. Just because they added a 70s motif doesn't mean it's creative, it's easy to just add animal + (human element) and call it a day. The motif doesn't even add anything except give it an excuse for a sig move.

Magikarp is dopey looking and has large crown shaped fins. Even without an evo its design has loads of personality.

Pidgey is a common shitmon that is literally a common sparrow, but it does evolve and gain a striking crest.

Tauros despite being my mom’s bull with three tails is a rare hard to get safari mon that is a single stage normal type you can only get in the latter half of the game. Everything about it is a disappointment

Pigeotto and Pidgeot are hard to tell apart, it's the worst case of "it just gets slightly bigger"

Bouffalant is better that Tauros simply because an afro bison is cool as hell as a concept and it's pulled off wonderfully. Tauros isn't very standout, and while I understand simplicity can be appealing, I think Tauros is almost too simple, like the studs and triple tails were added so it could have even a bit of quirkiness.

Nothing wrong with those evolutions, better than ruining it by forcing an unnatural progression (like Dusknoir or Rhyperior). They can't all be good like Charizard and Gyarados.
