So maybe the rumored Alolan forms that never came to be (Arcanine, Grass/Poison type, etc) will actually be in the Kanto Switch game?
I mean the riddlers/leaker were reliable with just about everything else but a few Alolan forms. They can still happen!

It wouldn't make sense to have a regional variant of a pokémon in the same region it was introduced, unless we go into theSevii Islands kind of scenario where it's technically Kanto but not really.

It's not technically Kanto because it is NOT Kanto. It was a Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh kind of region. Not an extra island from Kanto.
