Marginally better competitively thanks to having an item and maybe getting some decent moves, but worse thematically since it loses the type changing gimmick

It makes sense, makes it unique (as it works ONLY with TMS), and actualy buffs it.

Memories now allow Silvally a Status Z-moves of its type and don't count to the same "Once a battle" Z-Crystals have, but as said only Support Moves, have it learn at least one support move of each type to make sure it can use this gimmick.

Basically make them discount Z-Crystals focused on utility as opposed to BREAKNECK BLITZ along with the type-change.
