Back when BW were released the entire internet would just not shut the hell up about there not being old Pokémon available and how Garbodor, Vanilluxe, Klinklang and Amoongus was "the downfall of the entire franchise", despite the fact that they, bar Vanilluxe, were EXACTLY the same as Muk, Magneton and Electrode from Gen 1. The massive hypocrisy was just unreal. None of Gen 5's actual flaws were ever at fault, it was always complaints about Gen 1 being better with arguments that simply did not back up that claim.
