Can someone explain to me what this is?
Ivysaur doesn't have a tail, so it can't be that. Is it some other plant? A vine?

Can someone explain why every Bulbasaur line sprite in Gen1 is:
1- ugly
2- inaccurate to their artworks
3- poorly drawn
4- hardly explainable

How did Gamefreak approved them for the final product is beyond me.

I was talking about the ingame sprites, not the artworks.
The artworks were all amazing, too bad Shitimori ruined them all for FRLG and Gen5.
Shitimori's hate for Bulba line is unbelievable.

Their 3D models look shit too. Venusaur used to look intimidating, truly like a giant toad, whereas now it just looks plastic.
