we will get more regions in Japan, in one of the future generations of Pokémon.

Look at all that unused areas can be use as new regions.

oh shit, I never realised that the fourth largest island was part of johto

I'd love to see a region around the hiroshima area, with water routes between the main island and fourth largest

Isn't the north all farming villiages and hicks? Generalising obviously, but what interesting things are up there?

There’s at least two to three regions that could be done. With the shift to Switch, it could easily be done to have a full Japan game. (That is if they step their programming game up and stop making amateur mistakes like a lack of a master model file.)
