I did write an Explorers based fic with the lead character being a Snivy. 350k words, and not a single romantic moment.>Treeko in SuperIn spite of what I said earlier, I find Super to be a much better game than Explorers aside from the dodgy story, and even when it comes to story, Gates's one was a huge improvement over Explorers's. Grovyle himself was an absolute bore in the main story with all the personality of a bottle of ketchup, though he did get a bit better in the Sky episode. Shipping player and partner is kind of creepy to me due to the whole 'i used to be human' thing, and teeters into flat out paedophilia when it comes to super since the partner is explicitly a child.
