like, I honestly think the only exceptions were Max (tagalong brother of female PC), Tracey (filler character in filler arc) and Lillie. I know Ash isn't gonna go anywhere at this point but you think they could do something original. Hell even just have his tagalong friend be secretly a member of the evil team of the gen that he makes do a face turn due to their friendship or something.
