So far Aura seems more to be the cliché "Spiritual/Life energy" that you can see in any Shonen, like Ki, Chakra, Reiatsu or Haki.
All the dex entries i saw, mentions that Lucario can sense Auras and read people minds and movements with it and even control it, to fire energy waves, but it's never used to judge people and punish them.
Lucario is just a dog because GF knew dogs Pokemon are always well received by the fans and they gave him a broken typing and good stats to make it strong during the whole game and added some cool shonen-like Aura gimmick to make it even more popular towards Pokemon's young male audience, that's about it.
Also, nothing in its design or way of fighting looks egyptian.
