The way I see it, she plays an integral role in the 'comatose Ash' theory. As he gets moved around from regional hospital to regional hospital, the scenery changes, the Pokemon he can hear (perhaps is visited by) changes and, thanks to this relatively thirsty thot, we can now assume that Ash, stuck in his mind as he is, is now being molested by a caregiver at the hospital. Hopefully it's a she, and that said she is worth it.
