I agree that sinnoh doesn't need a remake. It can be played on 3ds, all the gens can be BUT gen 4 and 5 also can't connect to pokebank so there's that.

Yes SM/USUM cutscenes were long as shit and annoying, I'd say if you have the mental patience, you could finish the game in maybe less than a day. The same CANNOT be said for gen 4 because of: Grinding, sloe battles, dialogue, cutscenes etc. On average, it'd Probably take you almost a week to complete the game assuming you play at least less than 4 hours or have a managable normal life

I still want one though. I wouldn't mind seeing it in 3d, I loved the soundtrack and would like seeing a new take on it, and of course buying platinum again would probably be more expensive than a remake.

People act like remakes like the Spyro trilogy are automatically shit if they aren't better than the originals, but seeing a different take on them is worth the excuse to replay them

Fuck off. In SM/USUM, it takes players 12-15 minutes AT BEST just to get their first starter. Gen 7 was abysmally slow in both engine and gameplay.
