But as much as i loved beeing a policeman, some things bothered me. I didn't like the hierarchy and there methods : i thought they where more focussing on helping the rich – the ones who can give them good paper articles. I quit as I was turning 31, after my chief blamed me for losing a thief as i was helping some civilians.
I opened a private detective office and i rapidely started to gain a good reputation, resolving the big pokémons abduction of the winter of the year 1XXX, and helping the poors and the one in needs, charging extra fee to thoses who can afford it.
Today, my business is working well. I work alone, sometimes outside of the legal way. The police is letting me doing my job as they now i'm on their side, but some of them call me a traitor or a quitter. I still have contact in it, tho, especialy Special Detective Julia Lascau, who tip me sometimes. And who is the clothest thing i have to a girlfriend.
My sister is 32, now. She never managed to beat the elite 4. Now, she is married with a man from Kanto, Purple (weird name but it's a thing in this region, aparently), and gave me 2 nieces. They opened a sport gym, in Celadon City, where you can train with your pokémons to lose weight. She likes what she is doing and people come from far away to train with her.
My mother passed away four years ago, and the year after, my father moved to Vermilion City to be near the rest of his family – as him and i never got on well.
Now, i'm quite alone, here in this big city. I live with my pokémons, my job, and the few friends i have. But i can't say i'm unhappy. I love my job, and i'm good at it. I just hope i'll find someone, someday, to share what i have to share. I feel lonely, sometimes.”
