Alolan Golem has details that have unfortunate resemblances, too, even if those details could have another explanation.
Personally, I see worse the resemblances on Alolan Golem than the Probopass one. What's the purpose to take Golem and make it a bushy rock with a cannon that the projectiles looks like a turban and makes its signature move (Explosion) stronger?
At least Probopass has relatively nothing bad. Unintentional coincidence but necessary because the purpose of the design. Alolan Golem? A lodestone (literally Probopass) with... a cannon?
