Unova is still for the most part, a big circle that starts from Nimbasa, goes around Driftveil, Mistralton, Iccirius and to Opelucid and then connects to the Village Bridge, Lacunosa, Undella BC/WF and then rejoins Nimbasa. That's extremely linear and no amounts of side areas and post game stuff can make up for it.
