I wish those checkbox things in OP's pic actually worked. Whenever I tell Youtube I'm not interested in a video, they turn around and recommend it to me again soon.

its a marketing strategy
if you dont pay attention eventually it will leave
if you keep hiding/dismissing those vids they purposefully recommend them to you over and over again in hopes that you change your mind and watch the video
its a way to hook you into one of their """entertaining"" videos then hooking you into their channel
browse the anti jewgle/jewtube threads on /g/ every once in a while
