>>35485841You know, fuck it let's give the Huge Power thing a whirl and see how Incineroar handles things.
HP: 90
Attack: 80
Defense: 90
Sp. Atk: 80
Sp. Def: 90
Speed: 100
Same movepool as now; there's no need to add more. Due to OU's Speed Creep it'll likely be a Jolly Scarf set, as Huge Power would cover the damage change. This gives it pseudo-492 Speed, so it does outspeed most unboosted Pokemon. Now this is a tad different from Mega Mawile; it doesn't have the defensive typing and Intimidate to increase its durability and swap-ins, and with a Scarf to hit first it won't be boosting its Attack further.
Proposed Movepool: Superpower, Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, Earthquake
Alternate Moves: Leech Life, Outrage, Iron Head, Knock Off, Drain Punch, Thunderpunch, Shadow Claw, U-Turn, Facade (not strong enough or lack general coverage for a main set but may be a niche move on specific teams). These are all moves Incineroar already has access to.
Calcs for discussion (typeless defensive Mew):
Superpower (40.3 - 47.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Flare Blitz (60.5 - 71.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Darkest Lariat (42.8 - 50.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Earthquake (33.9 - 39.9%) -- 28.2% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
From what I'm seeing, Incineroar does hit pretty hard like this, but each move it uses has a specific downside, or starts to lose striking power. It may be better to remove more Attack and put some back into bulk.
