It is a pretty underrated small city gameplaywise as well
>2 dungeons with the SS Aqua and Lighthouse
>right next to the farm and Whirl Islands
Only thing I'd change is making the gym actually have a puzzle and making the cafe more than just a place to talk to NPCs.

Easy access to the beach for relaxing and to Goldenrod city for shopping and entertainment. Also, it's close to the miltank farm so I could get fresh dairy products whenever I want.

Then there's the two towers and the Ruins of Alph fairly close by to explore. The Lake of Rage isn't too far off for camping trips. I bet a real (actually fleshed out) Blackthorn city would be something else to visit because of how important dragons are to them. I wonder what it would look like. What the atmosphere, architecture, and people there would be like.

Definitely Laverre City. Get to live in the baguette region surrounded my mushrooms, trees, and fairies. And its not too far from Lumiose, which Id love to visit often just not live in.
