I didn't realize how dissapointing oras was until I thought about how long it will be until we go back to hoenn. It wssn't bad, but it was still wasted potential

Any time I get depressed about ORAS, I just remember I still own my GBA and my original DS, and can play Emerald and Ruby any time I want. Even got my Gamecube, so I can fire up Colosseum and XD if I'm looking for some extra variety in my postgame battle facilities.

And the best thing, is I can transfer those mons to Gen 6 and use them in ORAS as well.

What do you find better about Ruby than Omega Ruby? It's mostly the same game with some extra stuff tacked on and better graphics. Don't really understand why everyone on here acts like the originals are so much better to play.

Less dialogue (though I don't think ORAS crossed the red line in that regard) and the faster animation speeds all around immediately come to mind. Just convenient. Maybe the original difficulty curves, too; RSE are not brutal games but they don't give Treekco Mega Drain at level 14.
