I've got to agree. I can tell that they really went all out as much as they could for Sun & Moon. Gen 7 FEELS like it's the Seventh installment, the designs feel very much like future Pokemon designs no one would ever expect. It makes me so disappointed to see how badly it got shafted by the release of USUM. If they had just spent a year and a half more on either SM or USUM, this could have easily been the best generation since 5.

i kinda get not liking salazzle if you really liked salandit before seeing salazzle because its an.. unexpected evolution but the rest are godly designs.

My favorite gen overall. The only mons I don't like are litten, Alolan graveler, and midnight lycanroc. Everything else ranges from acceptable to flawless (gif related).

Gonna have to disagree on Popplio. I hated that thing from day one, and it's never faded.
I think it actually improved a bit with Brionne, and then when right back into the shitter with Primarina.
