is it true that you can only become a top tier pokemon showdown player if you have autism?

whenever i get to 1200-1500 range with my shitty mememons, firstly you notice everyone using the same sets and pokemon or a variation of a few and they all scoff at my lack of skill or rage when i beat them

isnt pokemon just for fun?

i cant imagine what is beyond that
