What's the best team you can bring to the Crystal Battle Tower without trading or cheating?

Breeding is allowed, as much as you want.

Marowak
Use Agility once or twice with Jolteon then pass to Marowak holding a thick club and have him use Swords Dance and it'll max his attack to 999 and just let him sweep

normal stab (return, double edge, body slam)
shadow ball
curse
rest
then bring two other things that can deal with things like tyranitar, machamp and steelix
exeggutor or starmie is a good pick
and then like a fighting or ground type

And Tyranitar, for whatever reason. I'd say Earthquake is the best coverage option, with Shadow Ball as a close second.

Also, there are only two fully evolved Ghost types in the game, so the Normal STAB is going to hit everything damn near everything.

Meanwhile, the two types that resist Normal (and one of those Ghosts) are weak to Earthquake. Only things to concern you, typing wise, are Skarmory and Aerodactyl.
