Its impossible for me to be immersed in the gameworld, and the conflicts with the evil organizations, if they just ridiculously only use pokemon to achieve their ends.
Do the games really NEED evil teams? Why can't they just be about a culture of battling/raising Pokemon? It's so stupid when you are sneaking in the evil team's lair, and they say "I'm gonna stop you!" and you both start having a pokemon battle.
If they DID want an evil organization, why not make it something like an illegal gambling ring or something, that would actually make sense in the context of the world?
