Just got to Goldenrod while replaying SoulSilver and the first thing I did was run to play Voltorb Flip. Man this game is fun when you aren't a dumb highschooler who can't into logic puzzles.

Europe's PEGI started to get rough on gambling too so they copied the Korean DPPt edits for Platinum there.

If they fixed just the second issue, it would have been many times better than the casinos. No one fucking played casino games, just purchased coins with cash to spend on TMs.

You can buy coins even in the Korean DPPt and European Platinum Game Corner so that restriction on the non-Japanese HGSS Game Corners is indeed unfortunate.

That's only if you fuck up right on the first flip
Otherwise, the more flips prior to hitting Voltorb, you may not even get sent back a level.

Voltorb Flip is great and needs to come back. There are several Gen 2 hacks that backport Voltorb Flip to the Game Corners (while also keeping the other games) and I'll just spend an hour playing it at a whim.

It's just slots anyway. Roulette was banished too without trace.
I mean, just because a kid learning a poker doesn't guarantee him to love gambling. I just don't see why it should be gone.
at least they can put something at game corner instead of nothing at all
