Resaturating anon here, I'm going to start a different thread for that purpose. I feel there's a fundamental difference between editing colours back to what they were as opposed to what these threads are about, which is trying new colours and combinations. Don't want to derail your fun here.

That being said, if you want to see any of your recoloured sprites on the animated models I'm down for that. Here's blue Dragonite.

i tried for blitzle/ponyta but their colors hate each other. i think the ponyta turned out alright but the blitzle just doesnt work

Also gonna post some more random generated ones I did. Some of them didn't work 100% both ways but I think at least one of them looks good enough in each image to warrant posting.

I use Photoshop to do these colour swaps, using the "Save for Web" tool. I don't particularly need the smaller sprites, but it looks nicer side-by-side, and sometimes when you scale something down in size Photoshop applies anti-aliasing that can muddy the colours.
