ITT: Rate people's teams

I just beat the Elite Four in Platinum

I've got almost 100% type coverage (i.e. I've got moves that are super effective against most things) - the only exception is Dragon I think. I need an ice type for that, so I might train up a Snover and replace Roselia with Abomasnow.

Before you say "why the fuck have you got Bibarel", he's great for HMs.

OP here, this is why: Shiny Stones are rare. I'm going to evolve a level 4 Budew into Roselia and then evolve that into Roserade, for maximum EVs. The Roselia in my party was caught as a Roselia at level 20.

Since you have a male Nidoran then I'm guessing you're on FireRed, in which case I believe Oddish is the easily-available grass type? Or is it Weepinbell? I can't remember, but whichever one of those is available in your version, get that one.

Although I guess as a warning, training up a grass type to full power in Red/Green/Blue is has a drawback - they'll get annihilated by ice moves when you face the Elite Four. So training up an electric Pokemon (e.g. Raichu) as your main opposition to water types is a better idea. Which you're already doing anyway with Pikachu.

Also I would recommend a Geodude for your team, obviously it will be useless against Misty, but Geodude/Graveler/Golem is really great in my opinion. Super effective against electric, poison, fire, rock, flying, bug. So he's versatile, as well as being of the only type which is super effective against electric.

I bought my mom a mac despite not using any Apple products because of their products look and feel "nice" and have a simple to understand UI. not fag OP but, I remember playing through Platinum and having a Bibarel HM slave. Because I lugged the guy around, he eventually leveled up and started to carry. Then I became attached to the guy, deleted his (useless) HM moves and he became a legit member of the team. so, yeah, it happens. Don't knock the dumb beaver.

Nice team, senpai. You don't really need anything so pick what you like. I recommend a Pokemon with either Grass, Fire or Fighting typing. You could try Flareon, Hitmonlee, Exeggutor or Magmar. Maybe a normal type like Tauros.
