I'm a little bit annoyed 'cause I woke up finding out that Piuk told about Pallet Town, but it's done, so let's talk about the entire region.
>The game is set in a revised Kanto. >The region is divided as the citizens worship two different religions, or maybe it's better to talk about "cults". Some people worships the feathered serpent, others worships the terrestrial one.
>The two legendaries decided to protect their followers and the outcome is a division between a traditional civilization, that lives at ground level like the old one (I'm talking about the old Kanto); and a technological civilization that lives on a "floating" region, something like Skypiea from OP. >The protagonist is from the technological society. >Piuk told about an airport, it's not exactly like that. There aren't planes, they're more similar to mini rockets, and their purpose is to travel between the two parts of the region. >There's no conflict between the civilizations, they only have two different points of view. >The antagonistic team main objective is to create this conflict.
