I'm going with just standard rules:
>one pokemon per route (the first free encounter)
>no repeats
>nickname all
>release if fainted
>no healing items in or out of battle
>no excessive PC visits
If I black out, I'll keep playing if I have boxed pokemon

The question is, is there anything else I can add to spice it up? How should I pick my starters? Pic unrelated.
