They also have a lot of gen II Pokemon that are otherwise not catchable as well as some decent TMs and items.
But honestly, the real reward is exploring them.
They obviously aren't very indepth but I fucking love the isolated atmosphere of them with the remaked gen II music. It's one of the very few areas in the series where it actually feels like you're on your own on a big adventure.
