I added the poison type as a reference to how how eel and lamprey blood is poisonous and also because an Electric/Poison type with Levitate sounds neat.

What do you guys think?

nah it's still hot garbage. Literally Ampharos tier mega. Not powerful enough to warrant using it over T-tar, Mence, or even Manectric.

1 mega per team means you need to be the best or have a really unique specialty to make the cut, and there's nothing super good. There are better trick room abusers, there are better tanks/pivots, and there are better attackers.

Current metagame really only gives a shit about that fairy resistance, and with that abysmal speed elektross isn't getting off shit.

145 attack is bottom tier for good attack anymore thanks to powercreep. Mega means no item so anything 130 with Band/Orb hits harder than this shit does. Electric is a subpar attacking type right now in the meta, though you have a point about poison being good against the fairy swarm.

Elektross' role in the games was always a pivot. Come in on one of it's resistances/immunity and volt switch out to a counter when they switch. You need to either give it a new niche or capitalize on its already existing niche to make people use it.

You do know Eelektross can boost right? and being part-poison means that it doesn't have to worry about toxic (unless someone memes corrosion Salazzle but let's face, you'll almost never see that anyway). Also while you could argue that it's not the best recovery, Eelektross does get Drain Punch and thus can undo being worn down by chip damage.

How is it just semantics when I was never arguing about the design in the first place? He's literally pulling a red herring about the design being shit when I was never talking about the how the mega looked but the moveset. But fine, you want to talk about the design, here it is, I literally just used google images and pulled one of the first results that came up. Fur coat is crazy good, leave those 30 points in attack or it might be a little too good. Would probably still turn out great with that speed + QD. Sounds crazy good on paper, but that 60 BP and quick but revengable speed seem balanced. I think it's fine.

Here's the same thing from earlier with krook hidden and a mega sceptile x in its place. This thing learns night slash at level 1 for some reason, and its old signature move was a high crit move too, so I thought it would be cool to have a critical hit based mega. Knock off and dark pulse are just there to be there, it might use knock off but night slash's power may be more appealing.

Consider leaving the speed at 70 or even lowering it for mor bulk, it might drive the theme of "bulk boy" to contrast beedrill's "live fast die young" home harder. It's pretty incredible as is, though.
That's exactly the idea; since tailwind lasts shorter than the weathers (3 turns vs 5, plus no way to extend it), tropius had to be able to get in and out as quickly as possible.
