XY may have been a shit game, but none of you can deny how great the music was. Let's appreciate these tunes and how they turned up the quality of gameplay, except for those of us who blasted it on an airplane ride to India.

I was talking about this to a friend last week. XY may have been riddled with flaws, but the music certainly wasn't one. Its ost is seriously my favorite from all the franchise, sans the gym leader theme, but other than that everything is simply amazing.

I really like the trainer battle theme. It could've been better arranged, but I think it was an improvement over BW's and DPPt's, and certainly better than SM's. It evokes a more competitive vibe to me.

Do you guys agree that XY had some DECENT amount of content to entertain you? It was my first 3ds pokemon game like many others, and the first run i had I actually almost caught them all. Boxes were filled and everything, I don't know why I actually enjoyed the game at the time, but it was pretty fun going through all the minigames and stuff

I don't know whats so striking to me about this theme, mostly sounds dreadful. Perhaps it dreadful to me partly because of the oldman side quest, where you give him a low level mon and soon, he apparently passes away. Its a odd blend of calm and somewhat depressing, It's certainly interesting.
