I hate Gen 2, especially it's remakes, and I'm sure you can guess why. Since I'm so bored and am feeling generous I'm willing to give it another chance. Convince me to actually finish my Soul Silver run when I get home.

I could replay Plat, B2, Fire Red, PMD:EoS, or literally any other game. I just dislike having unfinished games in a franchise but that alone isn't enough to push me through HGSS.

I tried to play through SS three separate times and I only beat the E4 once. Still quit early into Kanto.

They're just so goddamn boring. Or, "comfy" as /vp/ would say.

Go download StormSilver. I'm playing through it now and it fixes a lot of problems SoulSilver had: the stupid level curves and making the game somewhat difficult but not retardedly so.

This. Shitmons, bad region, levels all over the place... not to mention Johto is the original region to take the Kantocock.

The legendaries are neat and some of the other mons like Scizor and Heracross are cool, but I'd much rather just use them in other games instead of here.
