In previous games I'd do multiple playthroughs and challenges, but in XY I literally played online 99% of the time and only advanced the story for the sake of unlocking new Pokemon to trade/battle with. It was Pokemon in its purest form and the perfect storm at the perfect time, but as far as RPGs go I much prefer gen 4 and 5.
The pre-bank online was amazing, Kalos however wasn't that memorable to me.
