We make a list of things that GF will not incorporate and get rid of in Pokemon Let's Go Eevee & Pikachu not have and will be a let down.

Oh god, that list scares the fuck out of me. I can see GF forcing us to keep Pikachu or Eevee in our party and can't evolve them. Well, they've done that with Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow where you couldn't evolve it. Damn, you probably spoiled the game anon.

Slightly understandable but like 99% of that was filler and a way to throw in Johto Pokemon so Ruby and Sapphire players could actually fucking catch ‘em all. Also fuck them for making trading a fetch quest. FUCK that. And why is Moltres on One Island? Why couldn’t they just find somewhere in Kanto? Cinnabar, for god’s sake!
Also if the region is drastically changed like these people are saying it is then we don’t need Sevii to have a new experience in Kanto.

What??? The models in the games are already ten times as upscaled as they need to be for the sake of future proofing. GF was just shit with optimization in the 3DS games.

I can see why people dislike this but expecting kids to catch 850 Pokémon every game just to complete it is ludicrous from a standpoint of selling your product. They already have to bend over backwards to do a bunch of distributions each generation and shove in all the Legendary Pokémon.

Legit complaint but we can only hope the game just has less cutscenes. A return to Kanto would probably mean less focus on story-first narrative.

We have three situations:
- FRLG, which completely denied any new Pokemon, not even Crobat and Blissey.
- HGSS, which added Pokemon that are unavoidable without retconning things (the five that evolve with a move)
- ORAS, which just added every related Pokemon.

With option number two, we're looking at Pokedex consisting of 157 Pokemon (Crobat, Blissey, Tangrowth, Lickilicky, Umbreon, Espeon).

With option number three, the Dex increases to 183.

Nah, that's the hook, line and sinker for it compared to Pikachu. About halfway through the game it'll evolve into a new Eeveelution via cutscene.
Said cutscene is the only way to obtain this Eeveelution. You'll have to soft reset at the very beginning because you can't just breed for it and pray you get a perfect Eevee.
