I gotta wonder, can this even be considered as part of ANY Generation? Is this REALLY Gen 8? Somehow it feels like Game Freak is trying to break the ties binding them to the concept of “Generations”. I mean, we’ll force it into Gen 8 or Gen 7 somehow, but it won’t be what Game Freak intended.
