Is this (the dubbed version) the worst and most overrated Pokemon movie of all time?
- Hurr durr we're too cheap to get Veronica Taylor and co. back as Ash because old man with head cold James and co are so much better, cuz t-the "consistency" with crappy voice acting needs to stay! Let's hire the most wooden VA we can find for Souji who can underact to the point where he's robotic, too! Also, Sorrel based on Squirrel is the best dub name we could've given him, I swear!
- Hurr durr who needs to keep 57 of 58 pieces of Japanese music in a 20th anniversary Movie? Let's only keep 1 out of 58 pieces of it, even though even 4Kids kept most these pieces in original form during OS & AG dubbed and even we did during DP's dub! Who doesn't love a good Goldfarb'd score using the same stock XY dub themes, right?
- Hurr durr who needs to keep the script faithful for a 20th anniversary? Let's rewrite the crap out of it instead to be funny/cool with the kiddies! Not like this is special, right?
"The strong achieve victory!" --> "Might makes right!" (Cross)
"I'll beat him soon!" --> "I'll polish this kid off" (Verity, polish off means handjob, so kids giving each other handjobs is fine in the TPCi dub now)
"I'm going to capture and defeat you all, you hear me?" --> "Mess with me and you're gonna lose" (Did TPCi make Ash a playground 5 year old bully in the English dub? How did they manage to dumb down the script below 4Kids levels?)
EVERYTHING that came out of Team Rocket's mouths like "Primo Pokemon" which was originally "rare creatures," but especially, "Yo-Ho, Ho Oh" from originally "Let's go, yeah!" in addition to "Entei's on the RUN. Ain't we got FUN?!" from originally "We have to get that rare Entei for the boss!"
- Pikachu's terrible dub voice when it spoke, most burst out laughing in theaters at it.
