because joe merrick, serebii, the thing this board hates and shit talks constantly, posted it. people here joke about "SEREBII CONFIRMED!!" but actually believe that. theres several fake leaks a day here and this is the straw that broke the camels back because of serebii. god i hate this board

Honest question: other than Serebii posting about this leak and saying it might possibly be true, is there any other reason to believe it's more legit than any of the countless fake leaks we've had already? I can't see anything about this one that justifies everyone thinking it's real, but maybe there's something I've missed that gives it more credibility.

It's super low effort too. Even the lemur leak was had more effort put into it. It's literally just word of mouth, a shitty logo, and a fake USUM screenshot.
Hell even the meme parody YouTube leak was more "believable" than this.

You have to remember this shit is originating from Emily Rogers, whose only "Real" Leak was the Mario + Rabbids and switch details which were all sourced from a Ubisoft rep which sourced to everybody else, Not HER

Gamefreak pushes pokemon popularity all the time.
A lot of the time we see specific pushed that go nowhere, it was just a brand push for specific pokemon.
Somebody decided to simply make a fake leak regarding the current push of Pikachu and Eevee.
Using the the "HURR MASUDA TWEETED" doesnt mean anything because these leaks are meant to be based around what gamefreak is focusing on, not the other way around
