If it isn't PhotoShopped (Not good enough with PS to tell) then it's pretty coincidental that the sheet of paper and room lighting is identical to the original. Even if the background is PhotoShopped, he does the exact same strokes with the exact same shade of marker as the original. I don't know if you can handwrite Japanese, but even when you stylistically write in Japanese everyone's handwriting is slightly different, especially in kana. Not only has he got the same amount of pressure on his strokes, he seems to hold his pens (Which also appear to be from the same pack of markers) in an extremely similar way and at the same angle.
Either the 'original' Pikachu one is using some font that makes it look like marker pen and this guy has that same font, or they're made by the same person.
