I could have coped with the fact revisiting Kanto for the 6 gorillionth time, but not with them dumbing it down to an app. :(

something has to change, anon

the same old system of expecting people to transfer from old gens and or buy 2 and a half games in a gen, just to catch half the mons, is getting outdated

they have to change the pokeconomy for the good of the franchise

let's just hope it still feels like an rpg when gf is through

let's hope that the accessability of pokemon is improved while retaining the challenge and passion of the fanbase and the new gamers

Change is not always progress. Pokemon became one of the biggest franchises ever because it stayed true to it's roots. I love how the game is. I personally want another million of new regions and Pokemons. A wise man once said "never change a working system." or "don't fix anything that ain't broke." and is exactly what applies to Pokemon. They're trying to fix the already perfect formula. You can't improve on perfect.

I get it its scary but a lot of these have been coincidences. If the look is true why was just the LGP logo leaked not together with the Eevee one? Why isn't Serebii/Joe Merrick not saying on his personal "it might be legit guys"
Why would the "leaker" not only do it on April Fools, maybe to save their ass but still, ONLY do the more safe bets. And I'm saying its coincidences cause here's the beautiful part people. Where are the trademarks?

Whenever new big games get announced someone somehow finds the trademarks for them. Yeah now its ussually the day before but that's it. Unless we see trademarks CONFIRMING these are the titles and then see them show a trailer of them as the mainline core games for this year/next year nothing is set in stone. Fuck I wouldn't be surprised if Masuda isn't purposely perpetrating the rumour with his screenshots to well, keep the actual games and notions a suprise. Also where does "Project Beluga" tie into this? Last time I checked, no Belugas in Kanto, yeah it could represent a "pure reimagining" of the series but even thats a stretch. Atleast the Kantlantis theory ties in better with other more credible leaks yah know? Same with the titles as Pokemon You and Pokemon Me.

New stuff for change is fine, but ONLY when it's additive as an option.

Earlies in the series there were tech limits, but this has not been the case since the 3DS upgrade. It was pure laziness/incompetence that saw none of the old shit return to the series in Gen 6+.
