Gamefreak might go full retard and only allow the original 3 eeveelutions. If that were the case I'd go with Jolteon but I'd be less enthusiastic because Umbreon is one of my favorite p ok kemon.

Dark type is my favorite type. Plus I like Umbreons color scheme and it's a defensive wall type of pokemon (which I hardly ever end up with on my team). Plus the name is cool as hell.

Assuming all evolutions are in:
Water/Fire/Thunder Stone in Celadon again for OG 3
Espeon/Umbreon evolve as always
New Amie stuff for Sylveon
Moss Rock in Viridian Forest
What about Glaceon? Where would the ice rock be? The only place that has ice types is Seafoam Islands, perhaps they remodel some of it to be more icy? Or is this the gen where they finally retcon Eevee’s evolutions to all use stones?

Why would anybody pick Pikachu over Eevee? Its not even a competition, what possibly can Pikachu offer that is better than seven branched evolution?
Only Nostalgic anime fans would choose Pikachu over Eevee.
