Make jokes all you want but this post is correct. B/W started off a really ambition generation, a whole game that didn't rely on trash like Zubat, Geodude or Marill to fill a dex. Some of the designs aren't perfect but it after playing Gen IV and feeling tired of the same old shit, they really went out their way to make a fresh experience on par with Gen I but modern and you know... Not boring or appealing to normies.

Also Kanto games is the most popular and best seller, you can look those up and see yourself.

Gen 5 is the most mediocre generation. It innovated nothing lasting and basically felt like a bugfix for gen 4.

BW2 are amazing games, but BW1 is a fucking pile of shit. Not to mention the broser-locked content. Gamefreak was literally retarded thinking that was a good idea on a portable game.
