Just think about it, what reason would Ash have to go back to Kanto? Everyone has been so busy crying over the casualization of the games nobody has stopped to think this could be the end of the most iconic character in Pokemon. Something tells me Ash will finally win the league in Alola and the next season will start with a new MC. After all the leaks say the new games will be like a reset of the franchise
