Anyone else excited to see Pokemon finally "die"? I'm hoping the series will ultimately rise from the ashes this disaster will bring and Game Freak will finally start prioritizing what REALLY made the series great.

The new age will come if we wait just a little longer.

Sorry to disappoint you but Pokémon isn't dying anytime soon. I don't like the direction the games are going but unfortunately Gamefreak can do whatever they want and the games will sell amazingly.

First and foremost, the Pokemon. Catching a bunch of Pokemon and befriending them. This shouldn't take backseat to waifushit like Lillie, for example.

And aside from that, exploration, adventure, and the thrill and freedom of having your own Pokemon journey while overcoming various challenges. Those are what made Pokemon great.
