Is Jolteon with Pin Missile a good thing to use against Psychic types in Gen 1? Or is Pin Missile basically worthless?

really though youre better off using neutral attacks against them than trying to get some super effective bug move to do damage

Incredibly, Jolteon was the best Paychic-type counter, better than ANY Bug-type Pokémon due to most of them being part Poison-type.

It destroys Exeggutor and Grass/Poison types like Venusaur and Victreebel. Since Jolteon's Atk isn't the greatest it's not the definitive all-purpose choice for single weakness Grass/Poison/Psychics, but that's just the way gen 1 is. Just hit 'em with a Hyper Beam on your physical attacker or something.
