You know, I can get behind this. Bring back Pokemon that didn't make the cut. This makes sense because why would that info about Pikachu supposedly having a third evolution be released all of sudden. They were probably testing the waters to see how people would react to them releasing Pokemon from Gen 1 that were originally cut. However, I still don't like the GO aspect to this game but this brings my hype into this game.
